Bring big power to your HO railroad with the WalthersMainline SD70M! Introduced in 1992 and built through 2004, this later "modified" (as noted by the "M" in the model designation) version of the EMD SD70, was equipped with a wide nose and North American Safety Cab. Based on the Phase I version our layout-ready models feature:

PLEASE NOTE: When operating Walthers-branded DCC-equipped locomotives in DC mode, do not use power packs that exceed an 18V rating. This includes MRC 1300-series power packs which have known issues with our decoders.
